Introducing, Sharon Otness!

Tell us about you and your business.
I am truly a Multi-passionista. I spent my first years in fashion and as an Interior Designer. As I needed to heal myself from addiction in my 40’s it was time for a true change in lifestyle. As I started to create new habits and learn more empowering tools I decided to make another life change and go back to school. I became a Holistic Health Coach so that I could help other women learn more about their bodies and what changes can help them to become more vibrant. I use Desire Mapping,
What is your personal and business mission and vision?
My vision is to help women design a life they love. To help them re-connect to themselves with more intuition, nurture a healthier body and & inspire more creativity.
What motivates you as a woman and feminine entrepreneur?
Creativity inspires me. I love working with beautiful food-both as a cook and photographer. Working to support new leaders in an essential oil company I work with lights me up.
Other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you have made for yourself and your business?
This last year I decided to let my creativity fly. It has lead to an interesting new business I could not have imagined and to self happiness.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your success?
I am rewarded every day by working with the most beautiful tools, and materials in developing my products. I enjoy having a flexible schedule and multi facets to my business so I never get bored. I purposefully leave lots of room for exploration and the ability to pivot when it is needed.
What strategy do you use to keep your energy and vibration high?
I wouldn’t call it strategy. I use self-care rituals that I also teach. Using essential oils to stay high in vibration. I eat a predominantly plant based diet which keeps me energetic. Yoga makes me strong and keeps me centered. My dog gets me out several times a day to make sure I get my dose of much needed nature.

Who is your greatest inspiration? Feel free to share several. My Mom and my daughter inspire me. My Mom because even though she has suffered so much loss her attitude is still so positive and at 89 she stays pretty active. What a good role model. My daughter inspires me because at a very early age she decided she would not have a Plan B. She is a 100% creative person and she is making it work. Right now she is a model and photographer living in NYC.
How do you deal with set-backs?
It is interesting. Once I stopped drinking and became really clear, I have less and less what I would call set-backs. Disappointments and loss for sure and those I allow myself to grieve and feel the emotions. But for the rest, I know I have beautiful friends, and the ability to generate more opportunites and success in my life.
How do you define success?
I define success by doing what I love to do in a way that is congruent to my values.
What do you think is the best way to achieve long-term success or is there a formula?
I am not particularly good with formulas.
What is your #1 tip to being an unlimited, successful woman and feminine entrepreneur?
Be true to who you are. Come from a place of service.

Describe your typical day as a feminine entrepreneur
Up around 6 am. I start with my morning rituals. Warm water with lemon essential oil, green tea, morning gratitude stretches I devised years ago. Breakfast-a walk with my dog. News. Then I sit down with an espresso and open up my computer to look at what is on the agenda for the day-this is around 9-10. After that calls, social media, etc. Lunch. More work. Afternoon green tea, a yoga practice and dog walk. Errands Dinner. A little TV or Netflix. Bed no later than 11.
What is your last or current book you read and why?
Recover by Russel Brand (research) and Awakening Shakti (homework for my Yoga Teacher Training.
Do you have a mentor/coach and if so, can you share what areas you are working on?
I have several mentors. Danielle LaPorte as I am a Desire Map facilitator. Rachel Feldman I work with on my holistic offerings and I just got off the phone with Priscilla Stephan who did an Akashic reading for me as I am really getting clear on my offerings for 2018. We came up with some really great soulful offerings.
What is your next “big” project?
My next big project is getting out and engage in the town I am in for in-person speaking and workshops. I am also working my way up in the leadership of the essential oil company I am with so I have more of a global reach.
How would you define being unlimited as a woman and feminine entrepreneur?
I like to look at being a female entrepreneur as a creator and nurturer. We are the creators in the world. We can use our nurturing instincts to work philanthropy into our work and I like to think we are good at reaching our hands out and help other women up along with us.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
Take care of you. Raise your vibration so you can show up as the woman you want to be. Stay in your integrity. Be open to change.
